Nestle Rolo Mousse

I am pretty late to the chocolate mousse game but I suppose it is better late than never eh? I have a small obsession with Original Aero Mousse but decided to branch out and be a little adventurous on my recent shop, and buy the New Rolo Mousse. Why did I choose the Rolo? Well Rolo’s are pretty darn delightful mini chocolatey caramelly bites, and two it looked rather pretty.  The mousse was airy and light, just look at those airy bubbles! The chocolate is relatively strong and akin to my other mousse love affair I am having with the Aero…

M&S Banana & Dulce De Leche Slices

The spirit of summer is well and truly alive in M&S and they have plenty of new products to tantalise anyones tastebuds. A strong theme that is evident in the new range is Dulce De Leche, they have gone a bit crazy on the stuff, but heck I’m not complaining nor can I blame them as this stuff is delicious. Ben & Jerry’s Cookie Dough ‘Wich

Huzzah I have finally got my hands on the Ben & Jerry’s Cookie Dough ‘Wich. Why has it taken this long, well frankly as is normally the case it has taken a decade for them to actually arrive in a store near me. It is not like I live in the Outter Hebrides although on occasion I would love to, but for some unknown reason certain new products do take an age to get here.  Ben & Jerry’s now have a ‘Wich family which is made up of two varieties of Cookie ‘Wich’s – Cookie Dough and Chocolate Fudge, as…

Asda appear to have quite a range out that include Dessert Islands, Honey Teasers, Afternoon Tea and what today’s review is all about, Banoffee Bombs and Blue Yorkers. Banoffee Bombs – £2.00 Banana mousse with fudge and toffee flavour sauces, sponge pieces and toffee chips. I am having a love affair for anything banana flavoured recently and was pretty excited to find these. Tucking in these were light as a feather. The first layer of mousse was smooth, airy and packed full of authentic…

Eating Out at The Onslow Arms

Is it just me or is there a lack of decent pubs around nowadays? Everywhere is filled with chained restaurants with most just churning out lack lustre food with no heart and soul and charging an arm and a leg for it. We as a family have been on the lookout for a new place to eat and have heard some great things about The Onslow Arms in Clandon and decided on a whim that Friday night was the night to give it a go.  The pub itself has heaps of character with traditional features, exposed beams and a huge fireplace. From…
