Oreo Creme Egg

Ever year I say I won’t eat Easter treats this early and every year I cave. What broke it so early this year? The hotly anticipated Oreo Creme Egg cookies which have just landed. This limited-edition cookie promises to combine the crunch and rich cocoa taste of Oreo cookies with the indulgence of a Creme Egg. Is this pairing going to be a match made in Easter heaven? These were bought in Sainsbury’s but you can also find them on Ocado for £1.50 a pack, or Home Bargains and B&M at around 79p a pack. The cocoa cookies are stamped…

Turkey Hill Maple Cream Cookies

Is it a cookie or is it a biscuit? If there was one thing I was hoping our Canadian guests were going to bring aside from the Maple Syrup of course.. it was these iconic Maple Cream Cookies. Maryland Cookies ‘n’ Cream

Okay so these Maryland Cookies ‘n’ Cream aren’t strictly new. They certainly won’t be as exciting as the new Mint Choc ones (available in B&M review from Kev here), but that being said they are new to our local Sainsbury’s. If you think of cookies and cream I bet you’re thinking of Oreo’s, because they are kind on the cookies and cream flavour. Many other biscuits have tried to nail it but sadly the Oreo remains champion.  These are available in mainstream supermarkets and cost around 75p – £1.00 a pack. Maryland have expanded their range in a few different…

Maryland Cookies Desserts Mississippi Mud Pie and New York Cheesecake

Is it a cookie or a biscuit? It has the hallmarks of a cookie with its looks and choc chips, but it screams biscuit with its shorter crumblier texture. Maryland Cookies aren’t really the go, but when I spied the Maryland Cookies Desserts range I couldn’t resist giving them a try. The range has certainly grown from just the humble choc chip, double choc and hazelnut variety and now includes Maryland Wonders, Big & Chunky, Sugar Free and Maryland Cookies Desserts. These come in two flavours, Mississippi Mud Pie and New York Cheesecake.  Randomly these were found in the foodie…
