Noble and Stace Chocolatiers

Noble and Stace have stepped aside from the desk and after taking their time to learn all things chocolate, they are embracing life as Chocolatiers. Based in Midhurst, these Chocolatiers individually handcraft Chocolates, Truffles and Tablettes, using only the finest ingredients.  Being quite the chocolate lover I was extremely happy that Noble and Stace kindly sent me some samples to try, including their new and exclusive Mineral Water Truffles that are yet to be released. Let’s get tasting. Coffee & Cocoa Nib Tablette* – Super smooth chocolate, this tablette is filled with coffee & cocoa nibs. Breaking the bar open, it smells…

Sainsbury’s Salted Peanut and Caramel Ice Cream

The weather is hotting up which means hello ice cream. Previously I reviewed Ben & Jerry’s Utter Peanut Butter Cookie Core which I loved, but am keen to try a Supermarket own one; insert Sainsbury’s Salted Peanut and Caramel Ice Cream.  Jazzy flavour combinations are now a firm part of Supermarket own brand ranges, but can they match or beat the big guns like Ben & Jerry’s or Haagen-Daz? Sainsbury’s Salted Peanut and Caramel ice cream sits alongside their Chocolate Brownie, Cookie Dough and Toffee Honeycomb tubs, but what attracted me to try this? Peanut Butter of course! It’s great to see that…

Eating Out at Cau Guildford

Cau restaurant sits firmly at the top of Guildford High Street, and is a breath of fresh air to the umpteen amount of Italian restaurants that surrounds it. It’s difficult to imagine Buenos Aires in Guildford but they are certainly giving it a good go. We visited Cau when it first opened way back when, and after a few visits it had lost its sparkle. Fast forward a year or so, and with a newer menu, we decided to give it another whirl.  With a fun vibrant modern decor, and background tunes with a latin beat that you just can’t help…

Cadbury Dairy Milk Chips Ahoy!

Cadbury Dairy Milk is my absolute fave! It trumps Galaxy hands down (I know, I know cue the uproar), if you disagree I am happy to take your Dairy Milk off your hands! Cadbury fusions have been popping up quite a lot; we have had Oreo, Strawberries and Creme, Daim, Ritz, Crunchie, the list goes on. More recently Chips Ahoy! cookies are the latest to be squeezed into the deliciously creamy Cadbury milk chocolate, but do two delicious products make one super product?  A bold choice by Cadbury considering unlike the Oreo, Chips Ahoy! is largely unknown, or at least…

Good Full Stop .

In the interest of being healthy but still wanting to have a treat without the guilt, I have been trying out various ‘healthy’ bars. But can a fruit and nut bar be successfully disguised as banana bread, apple crumble or even various arrays of chocolate? I am rather dubious as to whether mulched up dates and cashews can really pull it off, and whether I would choose one over a choccie bar, but if they can then miracles do happen.  Recently over on Twitter Good Full Stop gave me a follow and I was more than intrigued by their bars. They very kindly…
