Cadbury Cadvent Knitwear

Did we all have a lovely food filled Christmas and New Year? It may all be over but this cold weather is in full force. Walking outside like a pig in blanket covered in layers and festive knitwear is an absolute must and Cadbury Cadvent Knitwear has got us covered this chilly season.  You may have noticed that Cadbury have been partaking in #cadvent. What is Cadvent I hear you ask? Well this campaign showed a series of children’s wishes for their loved ones come to life each day throughout December. We have had visiting a soup kitchen and giving a trolley full of…

Christmas: Reese’s Peanut Butter Tree

We couldn’t have a festive period without a Reese’s Peanut Butter Tree now could we. Usually I struggle to find the Reese’s limited edition holiday ones but this year the Reese’s Trees are in abundance in the stores near me.  This 34g tree cost a rounded £1.00 from the local newsagents, however these are readily available in all major supermarkets. Huzzah! Festive rich milk chocolate candy filled with the creamy peanut butter. There was some controversy over Reese’s shape ability but this year seems to be far better than the ridiculously shaped blobs of last Christmas. At first glance these…

Christmas: Lindt Lindor Orange

If you don’t know already Lindt Lindor are heavenly balls of chocolatey goodness. Fact. I must admit I am still mourning the loss of the Lindor Peanut Butter but there are still plenty of other irresistible flavours to choose from. One of the newest residents in the flavour department is the Lindt Lindor Orange.  Where would we be without chocolate orange at christmas? Terry’s certainly put it on the map but Lindt are here to give it a run for its money. This limited edition flavour is available in 200g and averages at around £4.00 a box.  Milk chocolate truffles with a smooth…

Christmas: McDonald’s Chocolatey Banoffee Pie

Happy Fast Food Friday! I will be honest, the only reason I will go to McDonald’s is for the hash browns and the apple pies. My little cupcake who has done a review on the whole festive shebang here, shared some valuable insight that this year they have forgone the fruit pie, and instead McDonald’s Chocolatey Banoffee Pie has come into our lives. Huzzah! This little boxed pie was £1.19, a small price to pay for what I hope is as enjoyable as their apple pies.I feel they could have been a little more festive in the packaging but nonetheless it was…

Montezuma’s Peanut Butter Snowballs

We cannot have a festive eddition without some peanut butter treats. I loved Montezuma’s Easter Peanut Butter Eggs so I was mighty excited to see these Montezuma’s Peanut Butter Snowballs as part of their christmas range.  I love the box and the presentation but I am not enthused by the price. £5.49 for a box is a little pricey to me, especially when on Ocado they are £4.99. The sizing of these was perfect and I like the slightly undone nature where the darker chocolate can slightly be seen through the white chocolate coating. The white chocolate was smooth and oh…
